Nimvue automatically filters out traffic from known bots and crawlers using a pre-defined list of:
  • Known user agents
  • Data center IP address ranges
These lists are updated regularly, though occasionally some bot traffic may slip through.

Excluding Known IPs

If you’ve identified a specific IP address that’s generating excessive bot traffic, you can manually exclude it via: Settings > IP Address Exclusions
This setting supports up to 10 IP addresses.

Reporting Bot Traffic

If you are aware of:
  • A broader IP range, or
  • A specific user agent
That is generating suspicious traffic, please contact support or submit a ticket. We’ll make best efforts to block it from future reporting.
Note: These blocks are not retrospective. We don’t store the data needed to retroactively identify and remove previously recorded bot traffic, due to the privacy-first nature of our platform.

Cleaning Up Existing Bot Data

If you’ve identified a dimension value (e.g. a referrer, page path, or browser type) that represents non-human traffic, you can request removal of associated events via support.
You’ll need to supply this information yourself - for example, by using your own server logs - as Nimvue does not store identifiable bot data.
