Nimvue is privacy-first by design, but it’s important to understand what types of deletion and data removal actions are available to you.

Deleting Dimensions or Data

Nimvue allows bulk deletion of specific custom dimensions or data on a best-effort basis. This can be useful if you’ve accidentally tracked a value or want to stop collecting a certain field. However, Nimvue does not track personally identifiable information (PII) and does not store any data in a way that links back to an individual user or session. As a result, individual deletion requests (e.g., “delete my data”) cannot be fulfilled, since users are not uniquely identifiable.

Requesting Deletion or Closure

To request:
  • The removal of custom dimensions or custom metrics
  • A bulk data deletion
  • Closure of your Nimvue account
Please contact our support team via the Support Portal or email us directly at support@nimvue.com. When submitting your request, include:
  • Your account or website name
  • Details of the dimensions or data to delete
  • Whether you’d like your account to be closed
  • Your preference for data retention (see below)

Data Retention Options

When closing your account, you can choose:
  • Backup: We’ll back up your data for up to 30 days, in case you change your mind.
  • Permanent Deletion: Your data will be immediately and permanently wiped from our systems.
Please be clear about your preference when submitting a closure request.
Once deleted permanently, data cannot be recovered.
